Ontario&#8217;s New Democrats plan to raise the corporate tax rate and offer financial help to hydro users, family caregivers and students if they win the June 12 election.<\/p>\n<p>NDP Leader Andrea Horwath released her party&#8217;s campaign platform today, which details a plan to raise the corporate tax rate from 11.5 to 12.5 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>There would be targeted tax cuts for companies that create jobs, up to ,000 per employee, but with &#8220;strings attached&#8221;
