British Columbia \u2013 commonly referred to by its initials, BC or B.C. \u2013 is a province located on the west coast of Canada. Its capital is Victoria (Named for the Queen who, in 1858, created and named the Colony of British Columbia), and Vancouver is its largest city (also the third largest metropolitan area in Canada.)<\/p>\n
