I wrote a few scenes while eating at Caf\u00e9 Adriatico,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n<p>However, she clarified that the movie\u2019s theme is something that she has always been attracted to. \u201cI still wanted to inject I guess something that inspires me <em>para masulat ko siya nang maayos <\/em>(for me to write it well),\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview by Jeff Fernando of Bandila, Toni\u2019s story was that it was Piolo who first read the script and insisted her to read it. \u201cIn one-sitting, <em>natapos ko siya<\/em>. <em>Tinext ko kaagad siya <\/em>(Piolo). <em>Sabi ko, halika na gawin na natin \u2018to. Gustong-gustong ko \u2018yung<\/em> script (I finished reading. I texted Piolo immediately saying, \u2018Come on let us do it. I really like the script)\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Dito sa<\/em> (With) \u2018Last Night,\u2019 it\u2019s all about choices and <em>syempre \u2018di naman kami bata ni<\/em> Tine <em>para magpa-<\/em>tweetums <em>pa kami sa pelikula <\/em>(Tin and I are not kids anymore to act cutesy in a film),\u201d Piolo said referring to Toni with her off-screen nickname.<\/p>\n<p>It was Director Joyce Bernal who gave the film a new name, \u201cLast night <em>sila nagkita,<\/em> they want to last the night, <em>ang problema<\/em> it\u2019s their last night (The characters met last night, they wanted the night to last, the problem is that that is their last night),\u201d she said briefly.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time for Bela\u2019s career in writing as apart from playing Maya Limchauco, she was also a co-writer of the 2013 film \u201910 000 hours.\u2019 But the 26-year-old refused to take much credit as she said that she was only able help in the conceptualization, as she had other commitments then.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Nahiya ako na<\/em>-decline <em>ko \u2018yong pagsulat ng<\/em> script (It is embarrassing that I declined the writing of the script). But I\u2019m very happy <em>kasi \u2018yong sumulat ng<\/em> script ay <em>sobrang talino at nanalo rin siya ng <\/em>Best Screenplay (that the scriptwriter is really intelligent and wont the Best Screenplay),\u201d Bela told Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) in an interview on January 2014.<\/p>\n<p>On 2016, Bela was the co-writer and co-producer of the film \u2018Camp Sawi, and played the role of Bridgette. \u201c<em>Nakakatuwa. Syempre may konting kaba. Sana magtuloy-tuloy na at marami pa akong<\/em> poster <em>na mabasa na<\/em> \u2018story written by Bela Padilla\u2019 ([It is] exciting and of course there is a bit of nervousness. I hope this is not the last time and I hope to see more posters printing \u2018story written by Bela Padilla\u2019),\u201d this was her statement in a Philippine Showbiz Republic (PSR) article by Archie Liao.<\/p>\n<p>This 2017, Bela was paired with Jericho Rosales for the first time, in the film \u2018Luck at First Sight,\u2019 which was also written by the actress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Nasa kotse ako, nakikinig ng<\/em> conversation <em>ng<\/em> DJs <em>sa <\/em>radio. <em>Tapos naisip ko \u2018yung<\/em> title, <em>dun nabuo ang<\/em> story. <em>Tungkol siya sa dalawang tao na sinuswerte kapag may<\/em> physical touch <em>sila<\/em> (I was in the car, listening to DJs conversing on the radio. Then I thought of the title, and the story just formed.
