MANILA\u00a0<\/strong>— Rain Or Shine banked on a huge second quarter and handed Star its first loss in the PBA Governors’ Cup with a 92-88 win at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

The Elasto Painters outscored the Hotshots, 26-15, in the second frame to register a 41-30 halftime lead which they kept for the remainder of the game. However, the Hotshots had a late run that made the final margin close.<\/p>\n

J’Nathan Bullock and Jericho Cruz each tallied 18 points, two blocks, and one steal for ROS, which scored its third straight win. Malcolm Hill led a losing battle with 26 markers, 20 caroms, three dimes, and one steal for Star.<\/p><\/div>\n
