Some even felt the song&#8217;s lyrics referenced former friend Katy Perry.<\/p>\n<p>When asked who Swift is referring to, Antonoff told The Associated Press: \u201cThat&#8217;s for her to tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook What You Made Me Do\u201d quickly set three records. The song has the most streams in a single day on Spotify with 10,129,087 plays; its official video &#8212; which debuted Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards &#8212; broke Adele&#8217;s record for highest number of views within 24 hours on Vevo (30 million and counting); and its lyric video was viewed more than 19 million times on its first day.<\/p>\n<p>Antonoff, who is the guitarist in the band fun. and has a one-man band called Bleachers, has worked with Swift numerous times. He produced three songs on her \u201c1989\u201d album, which earned him a Grammy; he co-wrote Swift and Zayn&#8217;s hit song, \u201cI Don&#8217;t Wanna Live Forever\u201d; and he shared a Golden Globe nomination with Swift for her 2013 track, \u201cSweeter than Fiction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love working with her,\u201d 33-year-old Antonoff said of Swift. \u201cIt&#8217;s funny, I grew up just only writing my own songs and having bands &#8230; (but) between Taylor and Lorde and Carly Rae (Jepsen), I&#8217;ve gotten to work with so many brilliant artists lately, and it means a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hit songs Antonoff has worked on include Sara Bareilles&#8217; \u201cBrave,\u201d Lorde&#8217;s \u201cGreen Light\u201d and Rachel Platten&#8217;s \u201cStand By You.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou learn a lot from the people you work with,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>With the band fun., Antonoff won the song of the year and best new artist Grammys.
