That\u2019s not necessary. All A\u00f1o has to do, or the commanding generals of the Armed Forces, all they have to do is to come here or tell me, \u2018You step down.\u2019 I will give it,\u201d Duterte said in a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte insisted he has \u201cno illusion\u201d on staying in power for five years more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no problem\u2026 I have no illusions about staying for five years,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte even encouraged critics to go the streets and said he would not stop them in initiating \u201c<em>himagsikan<\/em>\u201d or uprising.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou want to war against government? Go ahead. I am encouraging you to take to the street\u2026 <em>Himagsikan<\/em> is uprising. If you want that, go ahead. You have my blessing.
