Mocha Uson, <em>na pagpapakita siguro na may tiwala na puwede tayong humawak ng ganyang kabigat na posisyon<\/em>\u00a0[I also thank Asec. Mocha for believing in our ability to handle the position],\u201d the Vice President said yesterday in her weekly program BISErbisyong Leni.<\/p>\n<p>In the online poll, Robredo is the public\u2019s choice to be the next Secretary of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as she topped Uson&#8217;s online survey with 81% number of votes from the public.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Mas malaki sigurong pagpapasalamat sa mga nagpahayag na ako iyong preference nila, kasi pag papakita na tinitiwalaan tayo sa ganitong larangan<\/em>\u00a0[I thank those who expressed that I am their preference, it just shows that we are trusted for this kind of position],&#8221; Robredo said.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice President said she was shocked that her critic Mocha Uson included her in the choices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Unang una, medyo nagulat ako na sinama niya iyong pangalan ko.<\/em>\u00a0[First of all, I was surprised because my name was included],\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"tl\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Sinong gusto niyo ilagay sa DSWD?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2014 Mocha Uson Blog (@MochaUson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MochaUson\/status\/898154517899784192\">August 17, 2017<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Tarlac Representative Monica &#8220;Nikki&#8221; Prieto-Teodoro and Department of Social Welfare Assistant Secretary Lorraine Badoy were also included in the choices of the poll. Prieto-Teodoro gained 2% of the public\u2019s vote while Badoy got 6%. 11% voted for &#8220;Others&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>So far the Palace hasn\u2019t announced any name to replace the former Social Welfare Secretary Judy Taguiwalo who was rejected\u00a0by the Commission on Appointments.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella said that the vice president would be a \u2018difficult choice\u2019 for the vacancy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not saying \u2018no\u2019 for Leni.
