(PNA Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA, Aug. 10<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; Filipino Francis Casey Alcantara and Japanese Yuichi Ito have failed to reach the men&#8217;s doubles semifinals of the USD15,000 PTT-LTAT Academy Men&#8217;s Circuit 2 in Nonthaburi, Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>According to the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Pro Circuit website, the top-ranked pair of Alcantara and Ito bowed to the Japanese tandem of Renta Tokuda and Jumpei Yamasaki, 4-6, 4-6, in their quarterfinal match at the National Tennis Center outdoor hard court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Tokuda and Yamasaki will be up against compatriots, Sora Fukuda and Sho Katayama, who scored a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Taiwanese pair, Jui-Chen Hung and Wei-De Lin.<\/p>\n<p>Second seed Justin Barki of India and Kittiphong Wachiramanowong of Thailand won by default over Taiwanese tandem, Tung-Lin Wu and Cheng-Yu Yu, to arrange a semifinal showdown with Italian Lorenzo Frigerio and German Sami Reinwein.<\/p>\n<p>Frigerio and Reinwein won their quarterfinal match over third seeds Nam Hoang Ly and Thein Nguyen Hoang of Vietnam, 7-6 (5), 3-6, [10-8].
