(PNA photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>BACOLOD CITY, July 25 &#8212; The City Health Office (CHO) reminded residents of Bacolod to practice the \u201c4S\u201d to prevent and control dengue.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Grace Tan, head of the CHO Environment Sanitation Division, issued the reminder after dengue cases in Bacolod continued to increase as of this July 15.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;4S&#8221; means Search and destroy mosquito breeding places, use Self-protection measures, Seek early consultation for fever lasting more than two days, and Say no to indiscriminate fogging.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, CHO records showed that from January to July 8, cases reached 535 compared to only 290 during the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>As of Tuesday, it increased to 610 cases, with six deaths.
