(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ShaniaTwain\/photos\/a.429304477654.229345.10340697654\/10155047257752655\/?type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ShaniaTwain\" target=\"_blank\">Shania Twain\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>TORONTO\u2014Shania Twain promises fans will hear more new music this summer, starting with her positively optimistic new single \u201cLife&#8217;s About to Get Good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Timmins, Ont.-raised country star released the track online Thursday to coincide with the announcement that \u201cNow\u201d \u2014 her first full-length album in nearly 15 years \u2014 arrives on Sept. 29.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe day is finally here!!\u201d the five-time Grammy Award winner posted across her social media accounts with the hashtag \u201cSummerOfShania.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Her label says other songs from the 16-track album will debut ahead of its release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow\u201d marks the first time Twain has served as the sole songwriter and co-producer on all of the tracks.<\/p>\n<p>It follows an extended absence from making albums.<\/p>\n<p>Twain&#8217;s most recent studio release was 2002&#8217;s international smash \u201cUp!\u201d But after extensive touring she was sidelined by a struggle with dysphonia, a vocal cord disorder that forced her to stop singing.<\/p>\n<p>She also divorced her husband and longtime producing partner Robert (Mutt) Lange and battled Lyme disease.<\/p>\n<p>While Twain dropped the 2011 single \u201cToday is Your Day\u201d as she promoted her autobiography, an expected album never materialized.<\/p>\n<p>In recent months Twain has been inching her way back into the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>She appeared on \u201cThe Voice\u201d as a mentor for the singing competition and on James Corden&#8217;s late-night talk show.
