1154px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>GMA Network continued to pull away from competition in nationwide TV ratings in April, according to data from the industry\u2019s widely trusted ratings service provider, Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.<\/p>\n<p>From April 1 to 30 (with April 23 to 30 based on overnight data), the Kapuso Network increased its lead in National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), garnering an average total day people audience share of 43.3 percent, besting ABS-CBN\u2019s 35.1 percent by a remarkable 8.2 points. The margin is higher than the 5.4-point advantage posted by GMA versus ABS-CBN in March.<\/p>\n<p>GMA likewise remained unbeatable in Urban Luzon, which accounts for 77 percent of the total urban TV household population in the country. In April, GMA posted an average total day people audience share of 50.4 percent, way ahead of ABS-CBN\u2019s 28.9 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Across all day parts, including the highly coveted evening prime time block, the Kapuso Network reigned victorious in both NUTAM and Urban Luzon. The highly popular telefantasya Encantadia still leads the list of top programs.\u00a0 Also among the list are Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, Destined to be Yours, Magpakailanman, Pepito Manaloto, 24 Oras, newly launched Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko, Meant To Be, and Hay Bahay.<\/p>\n<p>Nielsen data is gathered through a greater number of sampled homes nationwide in comparison to Kantar Media.
