He&#8217;s the late actor who played Mr. Tattoo on TV&#8217;s \u201cFantasy Island.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>HBO said Tuesday that \u201cMy Dinner with Herve\u201d will star Peter Dinklage of \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d as Villechaize.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFifty Shades of Grey\u201d star Jamie Dornan will play a journalist who comes into the actor&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>Villechaize&#8217;s shout of \u201cThe plane, the plane!\u201d greeted arriving guests in the 1977-83 series \u201cFantasy Island,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He played bad guy Nick Nack in 1974&#8217;s James Bond film, \u201cThe Man with the Golden Gun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The HBO film&#8217;s writer and director is Sacha Gervasi, who interviewed Villechaize shortly before he died.<\/p>\n<p>The 3-foot-11 (1.2 metre) Villechaize endured health problems and died in 1993 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at age 50.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOS ANGELES \u2014 HBO says it&#8217;s green-lighted a movie about Herve Villechaize (ER-vay Vill-SHEZZ).
