The numbers suggest that Duterte had earned a trust rating +70 which is classified as an excellent rating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The numbers had been consistently high for \u00a0President Duterte as observed in the past four consecutive quarters since starting from a +26 upon his election in May 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Although there has been a drop in his ratings in Luzon and Visayas, it had gradually increased in Metro Manila and in Mindanao.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Metro Manila went from \u201cvery good\u201d to \u201cexcellent\u201d which garners the President an 11 percent increase in his trust ratings while Mindanao increased nine percent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Palace had welcomed the survey, with Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella saying that \u201cwith him, we are assured that the interests of the Filipino people come first and last.\u201d He also stated that the President continues to be the most trusted national leader today.
