MANILA – Senator Grace Poe suffered three-percentage drop but still leading a presidential survey conducted by the Laylo-The Standard.
According to the survey participated by 3,000 respondents nationwide, Poe’s numbers fell from 29 percent in January to 26 percent last month.
“Sen. Poe is thankful to the Filipino voting public who continue to stand by her candidacy despite all the black propaganda thrown her way,” Poe’s spokesman Valenzuela City mayor Rex Gatchalian said in a press statement.
“The results of the survey will serve as inspiration to Sen. Poe to continue amplifying her advocacy of Gobyernong may Puso,” he added.
The survey showed that Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte was the biggest gainer with 24 percent of voter preference, earning four-percentage increase to overtake Vice President Jejomar Binay for second place.
Binay has 23 percent followed by administration candidate Mar Roxas with 22 percent and Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago which has only 2 percent.
The survey was released on the same week that the Supreme Court (SC) is expected to release its decision on the disqualification case of Poe.
