Canada’s new Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan claimed that the government is ready to do its part to address ISIS as a threat to the country.
“ISIS is a threat. No doubt about that. Should we fear it? No… The Canadian population should have full confidence in all the security services to keep us safe,” Sajjan said in the itnerview.
“We need to responsibly figure out a way, what does Canada and the military, and all other government departments need to do… When it comes to the threat, we don’t go into a situation like this alone,” he added. “We will be ending the air campaign.”
