After the heinous attacks of a terrorist group that led to killing of 129 people in Paris last Friday, the Anonymous hackers held waves of cyberattacks directed at the terrorist group. Making the French war against Islamic State won’t just be in battlefields, but also in the cyberworld.
In a video post in YouTube, a man in Guy Fawkes mask referred to the attackers as “vermin” or pests and told the militant group that they will hunt the perpetrators.
“These attacks cannot remain unpunished,” the man said in French. “We are going to launch the biggest operation ever against you. Expect many cyberattacks. War has been declared. Get ready,” said the Anonymous hackers.
The international network of activist computer hackers also left a warning in the end of the video and said they “don’t forgive and forget.”

France started to launch massive air strikes on Sunday (Monday in Manila) at Raqqa, the Islamic State’s camp in Syria, having 12 aircrafts dropping 20 bombs at jihadi training camp. Now on it’s third day of attacking, France’s defense minister said 10 warplanes attacked the Islamic State, conforming to Hollande’s vow of intensifying the attacks in the coming days.
