MANILA – Actress-singer Zsa Zsa Padilla goes back to her first love – singing.  Six years after her last solo album “Unchanging Love,” the singer releases her latest album “Beginnings.”

“This album is going back to my roots — the music I grew up listening to. I hope that you get a copy of my new CD. Can’t wait for you to hear the songs,” she said, adding that her album will also be available in digital downloads.

In her recent album, Zsa Zsa features covers of her favorite songs of all time, from the late 60’s to the early 80’s with international tracks “More Today than Yesterday” and “One Hello” and OPM hit “When I Love.”

Other songs that completed the album’s tracklist are “I Just Want to be Your Everything,”  “Ain’t Nothing Gonna Keep Me from You,” “I Got Caught Dancing Again,” “Alone Again Naturally,” and “Just a Love Song,” among other covers.

In making her latest album, Zsa Zsa just wants to remain optimistic and take second chances in life.

“The last album was very personal: It was a bit sad and, at times, angry. I had just lost a great love, and I never thought it was possible for me to love again. We should never stop believing in the power of second chances! To my man, Conrad (Onglao), thank you for encouraging me to reembrace my first love, singing,” she said about making her album.

The Divine Diva’s album, under Polyeast Records, will be released next week.
