PNoy: Gov’t focused on advancing welfare of Filipino workers

MANILA — President Benigno S. Aquino III on Friday vowed his administration will continue providing the necessary assistance to advance the welfare of Filipino workers based here and abroad amid robust economic growth.

In his Labor Day message, the President said it remained focused on maintaining economic growth that will create more employment opportunities.

Saanmang sulok ng mundo sila naroroon, sinisikap tugunan ng pamahalaan ang kanilang mga pangangailangan, lalo na sa larangan ng edukasyon, pagsasanay, at agarang ayuda,” he said.

President Aquino said the government is promoting stable employment relations in effort to respond to workers’ concerns.

Inuudyok natin ang bawat kabahagi ng industriyang makiambag sa pagbuo ng patas na merkado, kung saan ang masigasig ay umuunlad at nakikinabang sa bunga ng progreso,” he said.

The Chief Executive urged cooperation of stakeholders on advancing industrial peace.

Isulong pa natin ang kapayapaan sa industriya at pagdadamayang siyang bukal ng masigla at nagkakaisang Pilipinas na tinitingala ngayon sa mundo,” he stressed.
