The Philippine Consulate General’s Office has transfered to a new office location at the 7th Floor, 160 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario, M4P 3B5, Canada.

According to Consul General Junever Mahilum – West, the new place is spacious considering the big number of Filipinos who are transacting with the Philippine Consulate General’s Office such as the renewal of passports, getting of the power of attorney, applying for National Bureau of Investigation clearance which include fingerprinting, and among others.

Ms. West his Office is also taking care of the processing and issuance of visa for Canadians and other foreigners who would like to visit the Philippines aside from those who are applying to study in the Philippines and to do business in he country.

In fact, with the absence of a Philippine Tourism here in Canada it is the Deprtment of Foreign that takes care of promoting the country to prospective visitors during winter in Canada and other parts of the world and select the Philippines as their destination for much needed relaxation and vacation.
