MANILA – The Department of Energy (DOE) said Friday it has not declared any power outage in any part of the country, in relation to Typhoon “Ruby”.

”DOE has not issued any advisory that power will be cut off by the end of the day,” it said on its facebook page.

It added that power outages will depend on the respective electric cooperatives in the areas.

Moreover, the Energy Department pointed out there will be no power interruption as long as the grid has power and the wires can hold.

The NGCP had also not issued any advisory for cutting off power in any areas of the country related to typhoon “Ruby”.

NGCP is a privately-owned corporation in charge of operating, maintaining, and developing the nation’s power grid.
