No new Covid-19 cases, deaths among overseas Filipinos

MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday said 3,247 Filipinos are still undergoing coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) treatment abroad as there have been no new cases and fatalities.

In its latest case bulletin, DFA said there are also no new Covid-19 recoveries added to its tally.

The number of confirmed cases remains 11,559, the death toll stood at 834 while the total number of recoveries is still 7,478.

“The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare,” the DFA statement read.
