MANILA – Quezon City has recorded 82 percent or some 15,590 recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) as of 8 a.m. on Thursday.
Of the 19,099 total Covid-19 cases reported, active cases stood at 2,962.
In a Facebook post by the QC government on Thursday, it said daily Covid-19 case update in every barangay will be posted on a regular basis in its website, https://quezoncity.gov.ph/.
“Magkakaroon ng bagong paraan ng paglalahad ng datos ang Quezon City government sa tulong ng OCTA Research patungkol sa mga kaso ng Covid-19 (the Quezon City government will have a new way of announcing cases related to the Covid-19 data through the help of the OCTA Research),” the post reads.
It said the reports, which will be released weekly, will reflect a more comprehensive data as well as the overall trend of the disease in the city.
Meanwhile, the number of suspected Covid-19 cases among those traced in QC is at 18,842.
The recorded number of deaths in the city climbed to 547.
Barangay Bahay Toro in District 1 remains to have the most number of active Covid-19 cases at 97.
Barangay Batasan Hills in District 2 has 126 active cases, Barangay Socorro in District 3 has 70, while Barangay Tatalon in District 4 has 87.
The city government is enjoining residents to read and fully understand the reports published for proper information.
