Another feather has been added to Erik Matti’s cap after he won the Best Director of a Scripted TV Program at the ContentAsia Awards 2020 for the Philippine episode of HBO Asia’s “Food Lore.”

“Thank you #ContentAsia for the honor of winning the best director for our episode #IslandofDreams,” Matti wrote in a Facebook post.
“I’m sharing this award with the whole cast and crew who worked hard on this personal story of mine,” he added.
In another post, Matti said his win is “good news for me and my partner Dondon Monteverde. [T]hese past few months were hard on us thinking of how we could move forward in this dire situation our film industry is in.”
