MANILA – The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) was placed on lockdown beginning Tuesday until further notice after a coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infection was reported among its workers.

In a statement, the office said the measure came after an employee tested positive for Covid-19 in rapid testing.

“As a precautionary measure and while awaiting the results of the confirmatory tests, no one, except personnel from the Financial Management Service and the sanitation and disinfection team, will be allowed in the premises,” it said.

Likewise, no document will be received or sent out by the office until further notice.

Last week, the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal (HRET) offices in Quezon City and trial courts in Parañaque and Taguig were physically closed while officials and workers were ordered to go into self-quarantine after incidents of exposure to Covid-19-positive individuals.
