“Today is a good day!” This is how Bea Alonzo, greeted her Instagram followers on her first day to go back to work after the lockdown.
Sitting in front of the glam mirror, all white lights accentuating her, Bea posed while smiling, her head hanging and letting her hair drape.
For the 32-year-old actress, though she has made headlines these months because of an experimental project and doing charity works in the midst of the pandemic, she said that in front of the camera is still where she feels the most alive.
It can be remembered that Bea tested negative for the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) last week.
“I missed working with my glam team, whom I consider as my extended family,” she wrote, adding that she missed the nonstop chikahan.
The Instagram post also teased a project that she branded as “unique.”
“Also, this project is unique because it’s my first time working with someone I have been so curious about working with! And I had a blast! I feel grateful for being part of this new family. My heart is full!” she continued.
Bea did not disclose any other details regarding this project but it’s something that fans will certainly look forward to.
Last year, it was confirmed that she will be working on a Kapamilya series with Richard Gutierrez and Rafael Rosell. Another project with Richard was also lined up for her by Star Cinema, along with Angelica Panganiban. However, with the pandemic crisis and the ABS-CBN shutdown, it is not clear yet if her post pertained to any of the mentioned projects.
During the quarantine, Bea was busy responding to communities severely affected by the pandemic through her co-founded organization I am Hope.

She also recently became the talk of the town when she met with Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto in line with the organization’s aid efforts.
All it took was a “Hi Mama! Nakilala ko na ang paborito mo! (I finally met your favorite!)” caption from her to make netizens swoon and suggest the ship names #BeVico and #BeyVico
The Mama she was referring to is Coney Reyes, her character Bobby’s mother in the film “Four Sisters and a Wedding” which is an online favorite for memes and references. Coney is Vico’s mom in real life.
Bea’s online presence also tapped online users some months ago when her online catch-up with former on-screen partner John Lloyd Cruz via Instagram live became viral. The conversation lasted for 30 minutes. The twist is that it was actually an experimental short film called “Love Team” written by Antoinette Jadaone.
