Describing President Rodrigo Duterte as a “good guy,” U.S. President Donald Trump asked Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea to let the Philippine president know how much he likes him.
“Tell Rodrigo I like him very much. He’s a good guy. I had a great time here,” Trump told Medialdea before boarding Air Force One at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
It can be recalled in Trump’s recent tweet that he said he made “many good friends” in his stay in the country.
Meanwhile, US Ambassador Jose Manuel Romualdez said he believes it was a very successful trip stressing that the Philippines and the US relations are “back on track.”
