MANILA – Thirdy Ravena and the rest of the San-En NeoPhoenix saw their three-game winning streak snapped after losing to Albirex Niigata, 79-86, in their B.League game at the Toyohashi City General Gymnasium on Sunday.

Niigata completed a comeback from a 17-25 first quarter deficit by going on a 14-4 run midway through the fourth quarter to break a 71-all tie and take the lead for good.

Prior to that, the team outscored San-En, 27-14, in the third quarter only for the latter to go on a comeback to start the fourth.

Jason Washburn and Rosco Allen were once again the prime scorers for Niigata, which snapped a six-game losing streak and moved up to 7-16, tallying 22 and 21 points, respectively.

Washburn went 10-for-17 from the field, while Allen made 7-of-9.

Allen actually tallied a double-double as he too grabbed 10 rebounds.

Allen Durham, Meralco’s PBA Governors’ Cup import for years, finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Stevan Jelovac sizzled for 19 points in the first half for San-En, but he was held to just five markers the rest of the way.

Ravena posted 10 points, four rebounds, and one assist off the bench.
