MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported 35 new recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) among Filipinos abroad, bringing the overall tally of recovered cases to 8,032.
In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also reported 42 new cases of Covid-19 and one fatality among Filipinos in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, and Europe.
These numbers bring the total number of Covid-19 cases among Filipinos abroad to 12,350 and the death toll to 861.
Meanwhile, about 3,457 Filipinos overseas are still undergoing treatment.
“The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amidst the pandemic,” the DFA statement read.
