MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported 21 more Filipinos abroad contracting the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), pushing the total tally to 10,411.

In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also reported six new recoveries and one new death in Asia and the Pacific.

These figures bring the total number of recovered cases to 6,600 and the death toll to 778.

“No reports were received from the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East,” the DFA said.

Meanwhile, about 3,014 Filipinos abroad are still undergoing treatment.

“The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic,” the department said.
