MANILA – Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta has ordered work suspension for three days next week in the Supreme Court (SC) compound in Manila for disinfection and cleaning.
In a memorandum released on Friday, Peralta said the disinfection cleaning and sanitation were recommended “in light of the increasing number of confirmed Covid-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) cases”.
Peralta said the disinfection, cleaning, and sanitation of the different buildings and offices of the SC will start on Saturday (July 18) until Wednesday (July 22),
To give way for the disinfection, work in the SC will be suspended from July 20 to 22.
Only on-duty personnel of the Office of the Bar Confidant, Cash Collection and Disbursement Division, Fiscal Management and Budget Office, Medical Services, Security Division, and Maintenance Division are required to report during the said period.
