Blackpink’s comeback did not only shatter the idleness of the days of their fans, as their latest single “How You Like That” broke Youtube records as well.

Previously set by K-pop boy group BTS’s “Boy With Luv” in April 2019, Blackpink now holds the three records: Most viewed Youtube video in 24 hours, Most viewed music video on Youtube in 24 hours, and Most viewed Youtube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.

This, after YG Entertainment confirmed that “How You Like That” topped 100 million views in Youtube on Sunday, June 28 when it was just released two days before; a total of 86.3 million views on June 26 on its first day.

According to the Guinness World Records’ website, YouTube also confirmed to them “that the live premiere of ‘How You Like That’ reached 1.66 million peak concurrent viewers, subsequently setting two new record titles for: Most viewers for the premiere of a video on YouTube and Most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube.”

Aside from these records, Blackpink is also currently the music group with the most Youtube subscribers, and the very first K-pop group to have a video hit up to a billion views.
