Bretman Rock seems he’s had enough of his Filipino fans who crashed at his father’s funeral just to take photos, which prompted the 21-year-old internet star to appeal to them to give him some privacy as he mourns.

In a tweet on Thursday, November 21, Bretman said he flew to the Philippines to pay his last respects to his dad. But much to his dismay, his fans went both to his house and during the funeral to ask him for photos.

“Can people just let me be sad for once…. So many people showed up to my dads funeral uninvited and started taking pics of my dad and my family.. Like why? It’s common sense,” the beauty vlogger wrote.

“I just don’t understand why people think it’s okay to ask me for pictures when my eyes are literally swollen from crying… how you gonna say ‘condolences, can we take a picture?'” he went on.

Earlier this month, Bretman said he found out that his dad, Edmund Laforga, fell into a coma. He was responding to a concerned fan who asked him if he was okay because he had not posted anything on his Instagram account.

The next day, the YouTube sensation tweeted a heart and a dove, which seemed to signify his father’s passing.

Despite this, Bretman tried to lessen the pain of losing someone by posting photos of him crying, with the second picture showing a line of snot hanging out his nose.

“I just wanted to document these pics of me crying… to remind y’all that it’s okay to cry.. bad b*tches can cry too,” he wrote in the caption.

Bretman was recently named the beauty influencer of the year by the E! People’s Choice Awards, besting other nominees such as Jeffree Star, James Charles, Nikita Dragun, Desi Perkins, among others.

The make-up guru dedicated his award to his dad whom he said has “always supported and loved me unconditionally.”

“I love you so much and I will always be grateful for allowing me to express myself and defended me whenever haters said anything. This one is for you Papa. I hope I make you the proudest,” he said in an Instagram post last November 11.
