Forty-three-year-old mother of two, Avon Viray-Morales proves that age is just a number as she was crowned Mrs. Asia Pacific Global in Johor, Malaysia.

Morales shone during the question and answer portion especially, where she was asked, “What would you like to be remembered for?”

The magna cum laude graduate answers, “I live my life bearing in mind that what I’m doing will someday be used as a measure for judging me. If asked, how I would like to be remembered for? I’d like to be remembered as an individual with character strength and unwavering faith, determination, and courage to stand by her faith in God whatever the circumstances may be,” adding, “More importantly, I’d like to be remembered as a caring mother, responsible daughter, dependable friend, empowering career leader, and inspiring civic leader who made a difference in the lives of many, in the community, and the world.”

Immediately after her victory, the beauty queen shared a photo on her Instagram captioned, “Dear Lord, these were more than what I prayed for. The thing that I could commit- to try and make You proud of me by being the queen that You created me to be, my Father, my King,” elaborating, “The thing that I could commit- to try and make You proud of me by being the queen that You created me to be, my Father, my King.”
