It was a four-set game victory for the College of Saint Benilde (CSB) in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 94 match against the University of Perpetual Help at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan last Tuesday, November 4.

The sets ended at 24-26, 25-20, 25-13, and 25-21, with Lady Blazers rookie head coach Jerry Yee believing that his girls “were still cold in the first set,” stating, “So, we talked and made adjustments.”

Rachel Austero led her teammates at 20 points. She was aided by Klarisa Abriam and Maritess Pablo, who provided 14 and 10 hits. Their setter, Jewel Lai, also guided with 27 excellent sets and 10 digs. Cindy Imbo, on the other hand, attempted to guide their team at 14 points, but it was not enough to avoid a 1-2 record for the Lady Atlas.
