Pimentel calls Mocha’s federalism dance ‘bullshit’

By , on August 6, 2018

Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III slammed Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux “Mocha” Uson over a controversial dance number, supposedly intended to give the public a deeper understanding of federalism.

Uson’s co-host in “Good News Game Show” — Andrew Olivar, performed a dance number while singing “I-pepe, I-dede…ipederalismo.” As he did this in the video, he was touching his chest and crotch area. Such act drew a lot of criticisms, one from Pimentel.

On Monday, the senator said that it was wrong of him to believe that Uson could really be of help in raising awareness about federalism.

“I could not believe that they would degrade the cause of federalism. Mocha should be distanced in the (information drive) on federalism,” Pimentel said in disappointment, adding that Uson should just “study first” and “take a leave”.

He also said that he is not angry, “just disappointed that the best and the brightest appointed to this government can come up with only that kind of bullshit.”

Senator Kiko Pangilinan also called on Communications Secretary Martin Andanar to explain why he is tolerating obscenity in his office. He stressed that the latter should not let this pass and rectify such acts.
