Trump ends family separation policy

By , on June 21, 2018

Undocumented immigrants can now stay with their families as U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order ending his policy on family separation at the U.S. border.

“What we have done today is we are keeping families together,” the President said, stressing that “he didn’t like the sight or the feeling of families being separated.”

Trump said that he considers the newly signed executive order to be “very important” and that “anybody with a heart would feel very strongly about it.”

But attached to this directive is the firmness of Trump that the US will not allow any more illegal immigrants coming in the country, assuring that there will be a “very powerful and a very strong border.”

“Lot of good things are happening toward immigration and proper immigration but we have to have strong borders and ultimately we want to see it done right and it will be done right,” he said.

Trump also stressed the need to “maintain toughness” because if not the “US will be overrun by people, by crime, by all of the things that they don’t stand for and that they don’t want.”
