WHAT: Career Development & Planning
WHEN: Monday | May 7, 2018 | 6 PM – 9 PM
WHERE: MSBCA Calgary 301, 114 3 Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta T2P 0E7
Most people find that creating a career development plan is not easy, whether you are a new graduate or a mid-career. There are so many options, so many possible career paths out there! Trying each of the possible options does not make sense, so we need a systematic way to tackle this very important task.
This 2-part workshop is designed for that purpose:
– On May 7, participants will be introduced to a tool that is designed to help narrow down the options through some self-reflection and an analysis of one’s past experiences. Participants will start working on this tool during the workshop and will be asked to continue working on it on their own (and with the help of people they know and trust) in preparation for the second session.
– On May 30, participants will discuss what they learned about themselves in the process. Even more importantly, participants will discuss what they are going to put into action the new knowledge they have acquired in the process.
The first session is prerequisite for the second session.
Please note that street parking is free from 6 pm.
These sessions wil be led by Dr. Lionel Laroche, Multicultural Business Consultant
