TNT repulses Phoenix for 2-0 start

ANTIPOLO — TNT continued its early surge in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup with a 106-98 win over Phoenix at the Ynares Center on Saturday night.

The KaTropa quickly recovered from a slow start and pulled away for good in the third quarter, outscoring the Fuel Masters, 34-20 as they held on in the end.

Terrence Romeo fired 21 points to top TNT, which moved up to 2-0, in scoring. He also had five rebounds, six assists, and one steal.

Jayson Castro added 18 points, five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block.

Jeremy Tyler contributed 17 markers, 15 boards, and one dime.

James White made 32 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and one steal for Phoenix.
