The goals of this conference are to bring together educators, researchers, and practitioners who are working with Filipino American children, adults, and families and share information about what are the most significant mental health risks facing our community; detail promising and evidence-based practices that have the potential for the prevention and amelioration of mental health risks; and identify culture-specific resiliencies that we can use to maximize the health of Filipino American individuals and their communities.  Speakers will include leading Filipino American scholars and social service providers including Drs. Alvin Alvarez, Alicia del Prado, Kevin Nadal, and more.

When: January 27, 2018 (Saturday)

Time: 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
