MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Luzon will experience scattered rains as the northeast monsoon affects northern Luzon Friday.

In its 24-hour weather forecast issued at 4 a.m., PAGASA said the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte  will have cloudy skies with scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The state weather bureau said Metro Manila will have isolated rainshowers.

Meanwhile, fishing boats and small seacraft are advised against going out into the sea as the condition is rough to very rough due to strong gale force winds affecting the northern seaboard of northern Luzon. (PNA)
