Just when people think that Liza Soberano’s beauty is already recognized by many globally, TC Candler’s “The 100 Most Beautiful Faces” list just highlights her ‘aesthetic perfection’ more by hailing her as this year’s number one.
Since 1990, The Independent Critics’ has been annually featuring the diversities of this world’s beauty, and for Liza’s third entry in the list, she has finally reached the throne.
The Kapamilya actress’s first appearance on the list was a big leap as she skipped 90 places and filled the sixth spot as a new entry in 2015. The following year, she once again made a leap, this time, on the second spot right next to English model Jourdan Dunn.
Other Filipinas who made it into the list are Kim Domingo at 98, Nadine Lustre at 78, Jessy Mendiola at 71, and Kathryn Bernardo at the 60th spot.
Meanwhile, as the world celebrates Liza’s beauty, her on-screen partner Enrique Gil also made it to the male counterpart of the annual list who hit the 61st spot.
Nadine’s boyfriend, singer-actor James Reid also made a leap as he fills the 4th spot in the 100 most handsome faces of 2017 list.
Brazillian-Japanese actor-model Daniel Matsunaga was another Filipino who made it to the list, at 88.
The Independent Critics List presents itself as a non-popularity contest that caters more than 40 countries of beauty.
“It is not about the sexiest body or the most famous celebrity. Rather, the list attempts to inform and broaden public opinion instead of reflecting it,” a description in its website said.
According to the annual beauty ranking, its only one criteria is “aesthetic perfection,” saying that grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, and hope are all embodied in a beautiful face.
