Just when some thought it was bound to break their love, indeed, Pia Wurtzbach proved that she was not just confidently beautiful but that she had a heart.
As a Miss Universe 2015 title-holder, with all eyes on her beauty and grace, the subject of her love life will always be of public interest. And as much as a lot are seeing hearts surrounding her and Marlon Stockinger, some could not abandon the idea of them breaking up because of her boyfriend’s paternity issue.
On March, Pia was asked to comment on Marlon having kids, which apparently the beauty queen had no idea of back then. A lot speculated their breakup, especially when the two unfollowed each other in social media, and deleted their photos of each other in their respective accounts. According to Marlon, it was simply the two of them choosing to give their relationship a more private turn.
In an episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda, Tito Boy was straightforward in asking Pia on why she chose to stay with Marlon.
“I actually realized this for a while now. Marlon is first and foremost my best friend before he is my boyfriend.
He knows me so well already,” she told Tito Boy.
Pia who was then adjusting to her life in the Philippines said that Marlon has been with her.
“He went through all of that. Of course he had his challenges, I had mine. He was there and then he just never gave up on me.
He never left,” she said.
She also revealed that she was being “strategic” in her relationship with Marlon.
“Where pagka mayroong issue, sabihin ko sa kanya. Heto gagawin natin ah, mag-le-lay low muna tayo. Hindi muna tayo mag-po-post. Hindi ibig sabihin break tayo (Where if there is an issue, I will tell him. Here is what we will do, we will lay low first. We will not post for a while. But that does not mean we are breaking up),” she narrated.
On September, they celebrated their ‘meet-a-versary.’
