The House Committee on Justice on Thursday, found sufficiency of grounds in the impeachment complaint filed against Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.

The impeachment complaint was filed by lawyer Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon who accused the Chief Justice of culpable violation of the Constitution, corruption, betrayal of public trust, and other high crimes, which are grounds for officials to be impeached under the 1987 Constitution.
