Faeldon to turn himself in to Senate

By , on December 19, 2017

After addressing a letter to the Blue Ribbon Committee saying that he will not attend the Senate probe on the shipment of the P6.4 billion drugs at the Bureau of Customs (BOC) as a protest, former commissioner chief Nicanor Faeldon, said on Friday in a televised press conference, that he will voluntarily turn himself in to the Senate authorities on Monday.

“Yes, I will go to the Senate by Monday and let myself arrested but I will not go and attend the hearing. They can carry me, let me sit there, but still my position is I will not participate…” Faeldon said.

He said he will not attend even hearings conducted by both houses of the Congress. And that he will only do so if it will be conducted by “competent courts, any court in the world that will ask him because he has a case, he will attend and answer the questions.”

Faeldon challenged the senate committee to file charges against him so that it can be carried and resolved in a competent court.
