Amidst the contradictions of lawmakers, it looks like there is no letting go of Nicanor Faeldon’s post as chief of the Bureau of customs.
He answered questions of his willingness to submit a resignation letter to the President with a “no” as he is a soldier with a mission but cited that the president could always fire him anytime.
The chief has been the top talk for an issue of a P6.4 billion worth of shabu from China getting through the Ports of Manila and was later recovered at a warehouse in Valenzuela City last May 26.
Despite these controversies, Faeldon still have President Rodrigo Duterte’s full support and was even told to focus on serving the country.
