Sarah Geronimo bags another international award

Adding to her long list of honors, actress and singer Sarah Geronimo has once again come out on top as she won another international award.

Sarah was named the best Filipino act in 2017 Daf BAMA Music Awards, according to the talent agency managing Sarah’s career, Viva.

The awarding ceremony happened at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany on November 17.

According to its official website, the Daf Bama Music Awards is an international multicultural music award show presented by Daf Entertainment based in Hamburg, Germany.

This music awards has been created to “honor artists from all over the world and also to unite the world with something as beautiful as music.”

Awards are presented to the best and most successful musicians in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Viva also revealed that Sarah has been nominated for the Best Philippine Artist Award at the Golden Panther Awards.

Sarah’s supporters, a.k.a Popsters, may cast their votes for their idol via Twitter.

The Golden Panther Awards is known as an “international awards ceremony honoring the best-selling most popular recording artists.”

The singer-actress rose to fame as she signed with Viva and eventually released her debut album entitled “Popstar: A Dream Come True” in 2003. This album yielded the success of her most popular single “Forever’s Not Enough.”

Sarah continued her crossover success as she achieved two consecutive Album of the Year prize from Awit Awards: “Perfectly Imperfect” in 2014, and “The Great Unknown” in 2015.

In 2004, she began her career in television network ABS-CBN where she appeared in TV programs such as “ASAP” (2004-present), “Bituing Walang Ningning” (2006), and “Sarah G. Live!” (2012-2013).

Sarah also joined the coaching panel of “The Voice of the Philippines” and “The Voice Kids.” In March 2017, the singer-actress confirmed that she will be returning as one of the coaches of “The Voice Teens Philippines,” along with coaches Bamboo, Sharon Cuneta, and Lea Salonga.
