MANILA—The low pressure area (LPA) last observed at 355 kilometers southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur and a northeast monsoon affecting northern Luzon will bring rains over some parts of the country Thursday, state-owned Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and  Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour weather bulletin, PAGASA said Caraga, northern Mindanao, Zamboanga  Peninsula, Davao region, ARMM, Soccsksargen, central and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms caused by the LPA.

Isolated light rains will affect the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
