MANILA — Typhoon Paolo will bring scattered rains over parts of the country on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.
“Paolo”, last located 925 km. east of Basco, Batanes, will cause cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers over Visayas, Cagayan Valley, Ilocos, Bicol, Mimaropa and Zamboanga Peninsula, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The typhoon has maximum sustained winds of 160 kph, and gustiness of up to 195 kph, heading north-northeast at 17 kph.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or in the evening.
Moderate to strong winds will prevail over the entire archipelago with moderate to rough seas, according to PAGASA.
