MANILA— A low-pressure area (LPA) last spotted 525 km. east southeast of Virac, Catanduanes will cause rains over eastern Visayas and parts of Luzon, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
Eastern Visayas, Bicol, Quezon, Isabela and Cagayan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers, mostly in the afternoon or in the evening.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow from northeast to north over northern and central Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds will prevail over Bicol, Quezon and eastern Visayas. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, light to moderate winds will prevail with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
