MANILA, July 24— Tanduay kept its slim hopes of making the PBA D-League Foundation Cup outright alive after a 91-80 win over AMA at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig on Monday night.

The Rhum Masters showed their winning pedigree over the lowly Titans for their fourth straight victory that tied them with the Cignal Hawkeyes for second place at 7-2.

The Hawkeyes, who own the tiebreaker due to an 89-63 win over the Rhum Masters on June 1, can clinch the second outright semis berth with a win over the CEU Scorpions on Tuesday at the said venue, their first game after a three-week rest.

Tanduay can steal the semis berth if Cignal loses to CEU and Tanduay beats Racal on Thursday.

James Martinez led Tanduay with 14 points, while Renz Palma added 11.

Jom Sollano had his best game as a Rhum Master with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Embons Bonleon dropped 23 markers and seven boards for AMA, which slipped to 1-8.
